How to choose Animal Hospital classes for solo and team shifts

The best Animal Hospital class is the one that supports the job you actually perform. Compare role, unlock cost, level progression, and team coverage together. A more expensive class is not automatically better for a player who spends most of the shift at reception, carrying supplies, or learning the hospital route.

01

Choose by task before price

Intern is the clean starting point because it costs nothing and gives new players room to learn. Nurse and Head Nurse support inventory-heavy routes. Secretary rewards careful reception work. Doctor and Surgeon fit players who consistently diagnose and treat. Security and Secret Agent are aimed at dangerous responses, while Paramedic emphasizes movement and Psychologist supports sanity management.

Ask where the team loses time. If supplies are always missing, add inventory or mobility. If treatment decisions are accurate but sanity collapses, consider recovery-focused perks. If reception is overwhelmed, a class that rewards check-ins may have more practical value than another weapon. Use the price table as a planning constraint, not as a ranking.

02

Build coverage instead of duplicates

A balanced group usually needs someone watching files and admissions, someone checking CCTV, someone moving treatment items, and someone ready for emergencies. One player can combine jobs in a small group, but the assignment should be explicit. Four players carrying similar supplies still leave the front desk and camera unattended.

Premium or late-game classes should fill a gap the team understands. Before spending Coins or Robux, play several shifts in the target role and notice what limits you: inventory, movement, sanity, treatment recovery, or defense. Regional pricing and balance updates can change the displayed value, so confirm the current client before purchasing.

03

Plan progression around repeatable value

Read all three progression levels before choosing a long-term class. Some classes add straightforward capacity or starting sanity, while others improve uses, recovery, or regeneration later. A perk that becomes strong at the highest level may feel modest during early progression, so compare the whole path with the number of shifts you expect to play.

Revisit the guide after a balance update instead of assuming the old build remains optimal. Treat class descriptions as snapshots with source confidence, not permanent purchase guarantees. If the live game shows a different perk, price, or progression step, follow the game and report the mismatch so the comparison can be corrected.
